Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 3, 2026

1. Who We Are

Beyer Music Resources and its Music Educator’s Worksheet Generator (the “Service”) is operated by Brad Beyer and Beyer Music Resources (“we,” “us,” “our”). You can contact us via the “Contact” page at https://www.beyermusicresources.com/contact.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: such as your name and email address, and login credentials (or the identifier provided by a sign-in provider).

  • Subscription and transaction information: subscription status, billing history, and payment confirmation details. Payment card information is processed by our payment processor(s) and is not stored by us in full.

  • Automatically collected information: such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and log data.

  • Cookies and similar technologies: used for essential site functionality (such as authentication) and analytics (if enabled).

  • Worksheet inputs and generated worksheets: The Service generates worksheets “on the fly.” We do not store your worksheet inputs or the generated worksheets on our servers as part of normal operation. (Limited technical logs and backups may exist for short periods as part of routine hosting operations.)

  • Payment information: We do not store full credit card details. Payments are processed securely by our payment processor (Wix Payments / Stripe / PayPal).

3. Student Information / Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for use by music educators and other adult users. Please do not submit students’ personal information (for example: student names, email addresses, phone numbers, ID numbers, or other identifying information) into any fields or free-text areas. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

4. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.

  • Create and manage your account and subscription.

  • Process payments and prevent fraud.

  • Send service-related communications (e.g., receipts, password resets, and subscription renewal or expiration notices).

  • Monitor and analyze usage to improve performance and features.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with vendors and service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, website hosting, payment processing, and analytics). We may also share information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and subscription information for as long as your account is active and as needed for legitimate business purposes (such as recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and compliance). Because worksheets are generated on the fly, we do not retain your worksheet inputs or generated worksheets as part of normal operation. Subscription and billing records are retained for accounting, tax, and legal compliance purposes (typically up to 7 years).

8. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States. Information we collect may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. When we transfer personal information outside your country, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection (for example, through Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission where required).

9. Your Privacy Rights (International Users)

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information in the “Contact Us” section. We will respond to requests in accordance with applicable law. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may also contact your local data protection authority if you have concerns about how we handle your data.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information we collect. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us through the contact form on our website. You may also be able to update certain details through your account settings. Even if you opt out of non-essential messages, we may still send essential service communications (such as billing and account notices). Note that we may retain certain information as required by law (e.g., billing records) or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention).

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above indicates when it was last revised. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email.

13. Contact Us

Questions about this Privacy Policy can be sent through the contact form on the “Contact” page of the website: https://www.beyermusicresources.com/contact.
